Auch in Stadtlohn sind wieder Sirenen zu hören

Im Krisen- und Katastrophenfall ist es wichtig, dass die Bevölkerung rechtzeitig gewarnt wird, um von einer Gefahrensituation zu erfahren und um sich in Sicherheit bringen zu können. Um genau diese Mechanismen zu testen, findet am Donnerstag, 10. September 2026, der diesjährige bundesweite Warntag statt.
Der bundesweite Warntag ist ein gemeinsamer Aktionstag von Bund, Ländern und Kommunen. Laut dem Bundesamt für Bevölkerungsschutz und Katastrophenhilfe (BBK) sollen an diesem Tag um 11 Uhr unterschiedliche Warnkanäle genutzt werden. Zu den Warnkanälen zählen unter anderem Sirenen, Radio und Fernsehen sowie Warn-Apps wie NINA und der Mobilfunkdienst Cell Broadcast.
Die Warnung über die Sirenen erfolgt über drei Sirenensignale: Erst ist eine Entwarnung (durchgehender Heulton) zu hören, dann folgt ein einminütiger auf- und abschwellender Heulton, der Gefahr signalisiert. Dann ist wieder ein durchgehender Heulton für eine Minute zu hören, der Entwarnung gibt.
Außerdem wird über Mobiltelefone gewarnt. Ab 11 Uhr wird eine Probewarnung verschickt. Gegen 11.45 Uhr erfolgt dann die Entwarnung.
